Kevin P. Geesey age 61 of Dixon died Tuesday March 1, 2022 at his home. He was born Feb. 20, 1961 in Sterling the son of David and Ann Margaret (Bickford) Geesey. Kevin had been a truck driver for Brubaker Transportation in Goodfield, IL. He served in the Army from 1979 to 1983 and was a member of the Rising Sons Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kevin is survived by his children Barbra Jean (Eddie Bouvia) Ballard of Harmon, Jessica Ann (Stuart) Barton of Rock Falls, Shauntae Nicole (Shay Gonzalez) Geesey of Rock Falls, 8 grandchildren including Skye and Brayleigh; sisters Lisa (Greg Brechon) Diveley of Dixon, Lorrie Middleman of Arkansas, brothers David B. Geesey Jr of Dixon, Patrick (Margi) Geesey of Coco Beach, FL, Mark Geesey of Dixon, Kenny (Andrea) Geesey of Rock Falls, and Brad Geesey of Iowa. Visitation will be on Sunday March 6, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Cremation rites will follow with burial of cremains at Rock Island National Cemetery.
