Judith "Judy" Anderson

January 28, 1944 - May 13, 2022

Judith "Judy" Anderson age 78 of Amboy died on Friday May 13, 2022 at KSB Hospital in Dixon. She was born on Jan 28, 1944 in Princeton the daughter of Philip and Charlotte (Piaszyk) Byczynski. Judy worked as a Dental Assistant in Amboy for Dr. Shapiro, Fox, and Hochstatter for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy, and St. Vincent DePaul Society food pantry. Judy married Lawrence "Jim" Anderson on July 3, 1974 in Aurora, IL. He preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 2006. She is also preceded in death by one great grand daughter, two brothers Albert Byczynski, William Byczynski, three sisters Bertha Saltzman, Pearl Hand, and Mildred Byczynski. Judy is survived by her children Jeff (Cindy) Byers of Princeton, Laura (Dan) Koch of Dixon, Vicky (Fred) Appleman of Amboy, Christopher (Jenni) Anderson of Dixon, Jody (Roy) Anderson of Amboy, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters Joan Estes of Rockford, Joanne Tornow of Rockford, Phyllis Brown of Colorado, and special niece Deb Shaw of Amboy. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy and then again on Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. There will be a saying of the Rosary before the visitation at 3:30 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Funeral services will be on Wednesday May 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Cremation rites will follow. Memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Paricks. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
