Jeanne M. Zimmerman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeanne M. Zimmerman age 73 of Eldena died on Friday May 13, 2022 at her home. She was born on June 5, 1948 in Mendota, IL the daughter of Emmett and Hilda (Becker) Walzer. Jeanne was a nurse and Machinest at Mayrath in Mendota and worked for Linda and Keith at R.V. Doctor. She married Karl R. Zimmerman on June 7, 1980 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2019. Jeanne is also preceded in death by her parents, brother Jim Walzer, and sister Joann Rebholz. She is survived by her children Beth (Don) Carroll of Kentucky, Dennis (Jeanette) Shepherd of Mendota, Chad (Ann) Zimmerman of Princeton, Lucas (Emily) Zimmerman of Amboy, Heidi (Tim) Handel of Morrison, 20 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Jeanne is also survived by her sisters Judy Mumbower of Lindenhurst, Joyce Cramer of Austin TX, Janet (Mark) Mellott of Buchanan TN, and brother Jerry Walzer of Sterling. Funeral services will be on Friday May 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Friday May 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. A memorial has been established. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
