Elaine K McKee age 55 of Dixon died on Wed. Feb. 23, 2022 at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She was born on Nov. 13, 1966 in Davenport, IA. Elaine genuinely loved to laugh and joke, listen to music, and movie nights. She was very crafty and a wonderful seamstress. Elaine loved her dogs Sadie and Sienna, had a love of horses, and was always taking in stray animals and nursing them back to health. She is preceded in death by her step-father Ronie Ballard, brothers Michael Dunn, and Kent Dearborn. Elaine is survived by her children Felicia Lybarger of Dixon, Drew McKee of Dixon, Hunter (Nathan) Spain of Winnebago, Madison McKee of Dixon; 3 grandchildren Olivia Schauff, James Spain, Bellamy Belman, her mother Beverly Ballard of Dixon, and fiance Dan Raney of Mt. Morris. She is also survived by 5 sisters Deborah Connor of Mt. Carroll, Patti Jackson of Dixon, Tammy Dunn of Dixon, Heather Bacon of Iowa, twin sister Laurie Kump of Dixon; 6 brothers Terry (Benda) Dearborn of Lanark, LaVern Dearborn of Dixon, Keith Dunn of Washington, Brett (Tijuana) Dunn of Louisiana, Todd Dunn of Minnesota, Curt (Kathy) Bacon of Iowa, sister in law Florence Dearborn, and best friend Rhenda Stover. Visitation will be on Monday Feb 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Funeral Services will follow starting at 2:00 PM on Feb. 28, 2022 at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. A memorial has been established.
